I did the Abs Diet a few years ago and went from 205lbs to 183lbs in about 10 weeks. Work and other scheduling conflicts caused me to get off of a good diet and workout, so I am going to try and get back to that.

I don't have one either. Maybe I am bad luck! I am going to try to put a new one up sometime soon. I just did half an hour of step....about to do another half hour after 100 crunches. have a good weekend?

Did another day of 1 1/2 hours of WiiFi. I have unlocked all of the Yoga exercises. The last three just tell you how to do the moves put don't measure anything. They focus on the back and I could only really do one of them. But, I'll keeping trying them in hopes that eventually I might be able to do them.

I used my wrist weights for the Strength Training exercises, which worked out well. But, when I did the Aerobice Rythum Boxing they both flew off while I was punching. It could be that I didn't have them on tight enough, but it is an issue. According to my heart rate monitor I averaged 113 bpm and burned 1070 kcals during the workout.

If I am on the ball on Sunday I will do my fat calipar and tape measurements and enter those in, to get that started again.

Oh, and I apparently lost 1.1 lbs from the start of my WiiFit workout until the end. I redid the body test because I screwed up one of the balance tests. So, I weighed less and I did better changing my Wii Age from 54 to 35. Woo hoo!!

Well, did 1 hour and 30 minutes of WiiFit today. I unlocked some more Yoga and Weight Training. I also unlocked the last of the Balance Games. When I was doing the advance hoola hoop, I checked my heart rate, it was over 140. That really gets you going. One of the new Balance Games is Zen Pose. You basically sit on the Balance Board with your legs crossed (if you can) and stay very still while a candle burns. The object is to let the candle burn without moving. If you move too much, the flame flickers and you have to stop. On top of staying still, the game tries to distract you by walking footsteps, moths, cows, and other ambient noises. I almost burnt the entire candle on the third try. I'm guessing some kids might have a hard time sitting still for 2 minutes.

For today's workout, I didn't reverse the Yoga moves. I figured I need to ease in to things this week, so I don't feel too sore to do them the next day.

Well, didn't work out last night. I didn't get home form dinner until 8:30 pm and I was a little tired and probably sore from the workout the day before. Most likely won't get to it today because of a social engagement.

BTW, this and the last post was brought to you by the letter N, the number 2, and my wireless keyboard hooked up to my Wii.

After walking 20 minutes from the service shop, today was my first WiiFit workout day. I had tried out WiiFit for about 30 minutes earlier and unlocked a couple of items.

With this workout, I started with the Yoga training and went through the 6 items I already unlocked. Since it started with breathing, it was a nice warm up with a little bit of tough stuff near the end. I am obviously very stiff and need some stretching.

I moved onto the Muscle Building part, which definitely got me sweating. I did not attempt to do the open workouts a second time. I also unlocked two more workouts, but didn't try them.

The last part was the Aerobic exercises. They were pretty much the final straw in my energy. The only one I didn't do was the two player jog, since I didn't have a second player with me.
I spent the next hour doing the balance games. The penguin one I unlocked is totally funny, but I really like the bubble one. I stand on the Balance Board like I am Peter Pan flying to Neverland. I was obviously losing energy, because I also got 900 yards then started doing worse and worse. So, I did the super hoola hoop, which seemed to loosen some things up and then did the punching bag one I unlocked, which was a good one. I finished up by doing the Yoga exercises in reverse. I unlocked the snowboarding, but only tried it once. After all that was done, I put in Wii Sports and checked my Wii Fit Age there. So, the key is, the more items I unlock in Wii Fit, the long the workout will be. And when I get 4 stars in an item, then I'll move up to the next level. Hopefully I can keep this up on a daily basis.

Something to make you laugh and to help get your week started!

At the end of one tax year the IRS sent an inspector to audit the books of a synagogue.

While he was checking the books he turned to the Rabbi and said, "I notice you buy a lot of candles. What do you do with the candle drippings?
"Good question," noted the Rabbi. "We save them up and send them back to the candle makers, and every now and then they send us a free box of candles."
"Oh," replied the auditor, somewhat disappointed that his unusual question had a practical answer.

But on he went, in his obnoxious way.

"What about all these matzo purchases? What do you do with the crumbs?" "Ah, yes," replied the Rabbi, realizing that the inspector was trying to trap him with an unanswerable question.
"We collect them and send them back to the manufacturers, and every now and then they send a free box of matzo balls ."
"I see," replied the auditor, thinking hard about how he could fluster the know-it-all Rabbi. "Well, Rabbi," he went on, "what do you do with all the leftover foreskins from the circumcisions you perform?"
"Here, too, we do not waste," answered the Rabbi. "What we do is save up all the foreskins and send them to our IRS Regional Office, and about once a year they send us a complete **** to inspect our records."

WiiFit just called me obese. I figured it would.
The sad part. I can only set the goal to 22 BMI points over a 6 month period. So sad.

Ugh, it's been a busy busy fall. I haven't been to the gym regularly and things are a mess at home. The plan is get the living room finished the week of Christmas. After that is done, then I get things reorganized at home, then reorganize my life. So, I pushed out my goal a couple of months. I hope to be back on track half way through January.

no, I did flooring before. laminate, but still, my back was hurting from always being at at a position with my knees and hands to the ground. I think its from the awkward position. and studying and exercising? man, seriously? i'm actually the type to just immerse myself and having to multi-task while studying? that's crazy! Trying to beat the clock doesn't allow time for me to toy around like that. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh . i'm sooo drained! mid terms succkkkkkkkkk!!!!

Well, didn't workout on Sunday because I spent the morning and afternoon trying to put in some flooring in my living room. I don't know what it is (old age I'm guessing) buy my legs are sore this morning. So, don't know how the exercise routine will be going as I try to finish up the flooring.

On a side note, moving 11 boxes of flooring and cleaning the room up on Saturday was a good work out.

yeah, about the eating part... eating isn't my problem. I abhore chocolate (yes, this weight challenged girl doesn't like chocolate) and I rarely have time to eat. I usually get home about 12:00 midnight... study til 3-4 (I changed that to just 2-3am) and then wake up at 6 or 7 when I feel like I can. I sometimes remember to take home lunch, but other than that, my broke ass rather not purchase anything at the overpriced campus cafeteria. but once I get home, I eat. then study then sleep... it's just erratic. I'm trying to fix one thing at a time for now. I really do hope to get to eating right. what's your opinion on working out on an empty stomach? I've been doing that since I started.

Played DDR : Hottest Party last night. I'm getting better at it, so when I start doing it as a workout, I should be able to burn more calories faster.

Well, the diet is out the window this week because of my birthday. Too much going out and drinking. So, hopefully things will get back on track on Sunday.

Ugh, probably just ruined the weeks workout and diet by going out drinking last night as a pre-birthday party. Guess I'll see when I do the measuring later...but not now. Ugh.

Today's Wii Age test used all three boxing activities. I didn't think I would do too well. I did managed to hit as many big bags as my record and do a little better with the sparring part. Well, when the Wii Age came back, it said I was 22. Woo!! Hoo!! So, I did some more practicing and managed to get my big bag count to 25. Still haven't improved the medal ranking, but at least I managed to do a little better. I also did a few rounds against the computer, but managed to get beaten all but once. Oh well. I finished up the activity with some ab work. Hopefully I'll be able to do more abs sets in the future.

I am back to being 33 again. The only problem with the Wii Age is the different activities and the skill level in each. If you don't practice all of them, then when it comes up in the Wii Age test, you usually do bad and your age increase. Of course, since you can't get any younger than 22, the graph will show that you mastered all of the test and are able to do them well to keep young.

I am trying to get back to doing the Wii Age Fitness test each day. I use the Wii as a warm up to other exercise. Well, yesterday I had the punching bag as one of the three activities for the Wii Age. It annoyed me that I couldn't get past 18 bags, so I went to the training and kept going at the bags until I wore myself out. I found that pulling back and swinging like I was really going to punch really gave my arms a workout. So, I plan on doing the punching bag, dodge, and home run derby in baseball as part of my warm up.

I order the Accufitness Fat Track Gold (Fat Track II and MyoTape Body Fat Measure) from HeartRateMonitorUSA.com. The price was the lowest I could find on the web and included free shipping. I ordered it on Wednesday and it on 09/11 and it arrived 09/14. Pretty quick.

I decided that if I was going to get back into measuring and such, I should get some proper tools. So, I used the caliper and measured my fat. Yep, I knew I was fat. The caliper is pretty easy to use and keeps a max, min, and average tracking for the 3 measurements (top, mid, low). I am keeping track of the measurements in my logs. The caliper can keep 3 profiles, so it could be shared. I plan on getting the tape out on Sunday and making new measurements for my log.

I also bought the Oregon Scientific SE102 Heart Rate monitor. I plan on tracking my heart rate and recording it with my exercises. Hopefully I'll have my diet and exercise routine ready by Sunday and start working on getting back in shape.
